Outreach for Nazareth Orphanage (OFNO), hereby referred to as (the “Company” or “Business” or “Organization”) retains ownership of this site, www.ofno.org, and is the processor of the Personal Identifiable Information (PII) on this site, as well as for offline activities.  Our online privacy policy discloses the OFNO’s information practices for our site, including what type of personal identifiable information is requested, how the information is used, and how the information is shared. What information do we collect?

OFNO collects information from you when you fill out an application online or via regular mail or fax, register  on our site, place an order, make a donation, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey, volunteer with us, fill out a form or complete  a poll.

When working with OFNO, transacting with us, or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, business information, Tax ID/EIN, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or bank account/credit card information. You may also need to provide additional information based on consent forms depending on how you engage with OFNO, such as through volunteer efforts or trips.

You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

We process personal data based on consent according to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you are free to give or refuse. You’ll see consent options when you visit our website. You can change your decisions at any time by contacting us or by utilizing specific widgets on the site. STORAGE AND TRANSFER

With your consent, we may store your data on our servers or with our third party providers who assist us in day to day operations, troubleshooting, customer service and processing. This data may remain on our storage centers indefinitely until removed.

How do we protect your information?

OFNO implements a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you make a donation, place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

We limit access to data only to the appropriate parties that need to view your data in order to execute upon certain requests.

After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers, unless a recurred billing or subscription plan has been set in place.

Links from our site to external websites do not operate under this Privacy Policy. For example, if you click on a referrer website link on our site, you may be taken to a website that we do not control. These third-party websites may independently solicit and collect information from you, including personal and financial data. OFNO  will exercise all reasonable efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of customer personal information. However, transmissions protected by industry standard security technology and implemented by human beings cannot be made absolutely secure. Consequently, the OFNO shall not be liable for unauthorized disclosure of personal information due to no fault of the OFNO including, but not limited to, errors in transmission and unauthorized acts of the OFNO staff and/or third parties.

Do we use cookies?

OFNO is in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not intentionally collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. However, families may register minor children for volunteer opportunities on our website.

Use of Site by Minor

Though OFNO may allow minor to participate in volunteering, activities or events, those under the age of18 will require parental consent, a liability waiver and a photo/video release prior to participation. OFNO will not participate in activities with a minor without prior written consent from a parent or an authorized parent guardian.
